NEM Installation Types and Capacity Limits
The types of installation include:
- Rooftop installation, and
- Car parks, garage or any related structures installations
Capacity limitation:
The maximum capacity of Photovoltaic (PV) installation system for both industrial as well as commercial customers for single phase is 1 MWp, approximately 75% highest possible consumption or about 60% fuse rating or at least a minimum of 60% transformer current
The maximum capacity of of PV system installation for residential consumers is 12 kWp or less, while it is 72 kWp for triple-phased systems respectively.
Connection Type
Consumer’s internal distribution connection shall be exclusively done through DL’s(TNB/SESB) indirect network connection only.
The import – export meter cost shall be paid by NEM consumer.
