To begin generation of up to 30MW of renewable energy, Malaysia has implemented Feed in Tariff (FiT) under the Renewable Policy and Action Plan. It will be managed and administered by SEDA (Sustainable Energy Development Authority) Malaysia, a statutory body formed under the SEDA Act 2011.

How to Become a Feed in Approval Holder

To become an authorized seller of renewable energy at the FiT rate, you will need to apply of FiA or Feed in Approval which are granted by SEDA Malaysia. You can have access to FiA application forms either online or manually. Online application forms are available via SEDA Malaysia’s official website, while hard copies are available at their office.

All FiA applications are evaluated through a transparent application process. There is therefore no special treatment and each and every application are treated equally. To qualify, follow the FiA application step by step process.
